The Comprehensive Transcription, Audiovisual Translation (AVT), and Production Course aims to equip trainees with essential and advanced skills in the field of audiovisual translation—starting with audio transcription, moving through translation and formatting, and culminating in producing high-quality, professional videos.

📚 Course Modules
1) Audio Transcription

Getting to know AI-based transcription tools, platforms, and websites.

Converting audio or video into highly accurate written text.

Exporting transcripts as ready-to-use subtitle files (Subtitles) with timing and segmented sentences.

Making the necessary edits to ensure fast output and top-quality results.

2) Audiovisual Translation (AVT)

Timing: Defining the start and end of each line in a way that matches the speaker’s delivery.

Proofreading: Reviewing texts, spotting linguistic and grammatical errors, and correcting them using AI-assisted tools.

Translation: Translating content into multiple languages while maintaining fluency and accuracy.

Formatting & Coloring: Enhancing subtitle appearance by choosing suitable fonts and colors that match the video’s content.

Animation & Styles: Adding effects and motion to text, using professional codes to create a distinctive, non-traditional subtitle style.

3) Production

Getting familiar with the latest and best video production software.

Learning two production methods—Hard Sub and Soft Sub—and how to choose the most appropriate option.

Resizing and trimming videos, and adding subtitles professionally.

Understanding formats and codecs and their role in exporting audio and video.

Exploring key supporting tools such as: VLC, Format Factory, Handbrake, StaxRip.

Selecting the best codecs and formats that combine:

Small file size

High quality

Compatibility across devices

Preservation of formatting and styles
